About Us

MISSION

Women of the Word Ministries is a non-denominational, not-for-profit, Christian ministry headquartered in Southeast New Mexico. We seek to bring together women of all backgrounds and denominations to join in seeking Jesus and learning more about His Word in order to grow in relationship with Christ and each other.

VISION

Women of the Word Ministries is for any woman who is seeking to know more about Jesus and desires real-life communication and actual change. Women of the Word is for every woman, wherever she may be on her spiritual journey, and creates a safe environment to ask hard questions while being genuine with each other and the Lord.

WE BELIEVE

1. Scripture is inspired of God, authoritative, and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

2. There is one God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)

3. Human beings are created in the image of God and because of sin we all experience separation from God. All humans are unchangeably sinful apart from divine grace. (Genesis 1:26; Romans 5:12)

4. Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died for our sins as an atoning sacrifice and three days later was resurrected. (1 Peter 3:18)

5. Whoever places their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior becomes a child of God and receives salvation and eternal life. We believe in salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

6. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His ascension into heaven, and His present life there for us. (Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 7:24-25)

7. We believe in Christ’s personal return to establish His Kingdom on earth. (Acts 1:11; Isaiah 9:6-7)
